For donors
Your gift, your state, your school.
Under section 25F, an individual can receive a federal tax credit of up to $1,700 for contributions to a listed scholarship granting organization, starting with contributions made in 2027.

How giving will work
The contribution must be cash and must be designated as a section 25F contribution when it is made.
- You choose which participating state's scholarships your gift supports.
- You may ask that your gift support students at a particular participating school. We record that preference and credit your gift to that school's balance.
- You can never name a particular student, including your own child. Every award is made by the Fund under its written rules.
- If a school's balance is not awarded by September 30 of the year after your gift, we award it to eligible students at other participating schools in the same state.
- By January 31 of each year we send every donor the written acknowledgment the IRS requires for the prior year's contributions.
We are not accepting contributions yet. The federal credit applies to contributions made on or after January 1, 2027, and only to a scholarship granting organization on the list of a participating state. We will open contributions in each state once that state lists us.
